Software Backend Engineer (m/w/d)

Deine Aufgaben
  • Zusammen mit deinem Team konzipierst, entwickelst und implementierst Du Backend Softwarelösungen für unsere Kunden aus unterschiedlichen Branchen.
  • Ein aktuelles Projekt ist der Entwurf und die Entwicklung einer Kundenplattform zur Unterstützung der Planung, Beschaffung und Projektierung. Dabei wird auf einen hohen Grad an Prozess-Automatisierung gesetzt. Du hast die Chance bereits frühzeitig an der Gestaltung mitzuwirken und Deine Ideen in die gesamte Wertschöpfungskette einfließen zu lassen.
  • Du magst die "you build it, you run it" Mentalität. D.h. Du pflegst den gesamten Lebenszyklus des Systems von der Entwicklung, über das Deployment bis hin zum Monitoring und Alerting. 
  • Darüberhinaus bist Du beteiligt an der Steuerung von IT Projekten und hilfst dabei diese voranzutreiben.
  • Du implementierst und optimierst neue, innovative Features weiter.
  • Du berätst unsere Kunden als technologischer Backend Sparringspartner.
  • Du teilst Dein Wissen und lernst von Deinen Kollegen, um jeden Tag ein bisschen besser zu werden.
Dein Profil
  • Du hast ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium oder eine Ausbildung (Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Bioinformatik oder vergleichbare IT Software Fachrichtung). Mathematiker, Physiker und self-made Entwickler sind ebenfalls willkommen. 
  • Du verfügst über mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Backend Entwickler/-in im Umfeld moderner Technologien, wie z. B. Java, Microprofile, Quarkus, Microservices, Terraform.
  • Kenntnisse in Postgres und SQL, Hibernate als ORM und Github Actions sind ein großes Plus. 
  • Du hattest bereits Berührungspunkte im Cloud Umfeld (AWS, AWS ECS, AWS CDK).
  • Du hast Erfahrung mit der Anwendungsentwicklung nach dem Backend-For-Frontend Pattern und integrierst mittels RESTful APIs
  • Du fühlst dich wohl in komplexen Systemarchitekturen.
  • Clean Code, CI/CD und DevOps sind keine Fremdwörter für Dich.
  • Das Arbeiten in agilen Teams und ein agiles Mindset sind für Dich selbstverständlich.
  • Du hast analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten, eine hohe Kreativität bei der Lösung komplexer Aufgabenstellungen sowie einen ausgeprägten Teamgeist.
  • Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und hast sehr gute Englischkenntnisse.
  • Trotz der Möglichkeit aus dem Homeoffice zu arbeiten, bist Du gerne regelmäßig vor Ort.

Your mission
  • Together with your team, you design, develop and implement software solutions for our customers from various industries.
  • A current project is the design and development of a customer platform to support planning, procurement and project planning. This relies on a high degree of process automation. You have the opportunity to participate in the design at an early stage and to incorporate your ideas into the entire value chain.
  • You like to work in an "you build it, you run it" environment. You maintain the entire life cycle of the system from development to monitoring and alerting. 
  • You are involved in the management of projects and drive them in a proactive way.
  • You implement and improve new, innovative features.
  • You act as a mentor and technology expert and lead by example in the team.
  • You advise our customers as a technological sparring partner.
Your profile
  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, business informatics, bioinformatics or a comparable IT software discipline. Mathematicians, physicists and self-made developers are also welcome.
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience as a backend developer in the field of modern technologies, such as Java, Microprofile, Quarkus, Microservices, Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Postgres and SQL, Hibernate as ORM and Github Actions are a big plus. 
  • You already had touchpoints in the cloud environment (AWS, ASW ECS, AWS CDK).
  • You have experience with application development according to the backend-for-frontend pattern and integrate using RESTful APIs
  • You feel comfortable in complex system architectures.
  • Clean Code, CI/CD and DevOps are not foreign words for you.
  • Working in agile teams and an agile mindset are a matter of course for you.
  • You have analytical and conceptual skills, a high level of creativity in solving complex tasks and a strong team spirit.
  • You are fluent in German and have very good English skills.
  • Despite the possibility of working from home, you like to be on site regularly.
